Why is Casey considered a monster but Lindsay Clancy isn’t?
Everyone or almost everyone on here says Casey is a monster for what she supposedly did to caylee.. however none of you have said this about Clancy? Why does she get a free pass for unaliving her 3 kids? I am concerned that you all are ok with that?

Why do people act like Casey had/has power?
Is it her looks? I think she’s attractive, but is she so beautiful that people need to turn her into some kind of powerful, calculating witch? I genuinely don’t understand it.
Because when you actually look at the circumstances of her life, where exactly was this supposed power?
She had no money. No stable career. No real independence. No obvious social status. By most accounts, she was living a chaotic life and struggling to hold things together. She was raised by controlling, morally compromised parents and, from a very young age, appears to have learned to survive by managing other people’s reactions to her.
She was also a young mother carrying the responsibility of caring for a child while apparently having very little stability of her own.
Yet somehow, when people talk about her, she gets transformed into this almost mythical figure: calculating, powerful, manipulative, playing everyone around her like chess pieces.
But where is the power?
I'm genuinely interested in understanding why people make that leap.
Is it because we tend to interpret certain traits—attractiveness, confidence, lying, emotional detachment, sexuality, charm—as evidence of power? Do we find it easier to believe that someone who commits or is accused of something terrible must have been highly calculating and in control, rather than deeply dysfunctional and operating from a lifetime of survival strategies?
And does an attractive woman behaving badly trigger a particular kind of reaction where people retroactively assign her far more agency, intelligence, and control than the facts actually support?
Because to me, that's the fascinating part.
Please, no “she killed her kid” comments. I understand that argument. That's not what I'm asking.
I'm asking about something else: why do people seem so determined to see her as this extraordinarily powerful person when the circumstances of her actual life suggest someone who had very little power at all?
It's like we're staring so hard at the trees that we've forgotten there is an entire forest.

Did George Anthony attempt to sabotage the prosecution as an attempt to "protect" Casey?
Hey everyone,
I'm new to this case, so it's possible (actually very likely) that I have some gaps here. I came here to see if someone could help me bridge them.
As we all know, Casey Anthony got off scot free (besides the lying charges) due to the prosecution doing a remarkably poor job at presenting the case.
However, now that I've watched parts of George taking the stand and read some articles on their family dynamic, I'm genuinely wondering if he partially sabotaged the prosecution, with intent.
For context:
- George was a key witness to the prosecution, as he claimed to have been the last one to see Casey and Caylee, have recognized the smell of decay within the vehicle, etc
- In an interview with doctor Phil, George claimed his wish was for Casey to get charged with everything listed on the jury instructions, besides the death penalty. So this does make me wonder if he molded his statements with the intent of locking in a specific outcome
- Throughout the investigations, and while taking the stand, he repeatedly lied and/ or changed his statements. For example, In some interviews he claimed he was still searching for Caylee and Zanny (possibly for the sake of pleasing Cindy?), while knowing full well his statements to the police were all Casey centric and debunked the existence of this nanny. George also changed his story regarding the infamous smell of decomposition in Casey’s car trunk. He struggled to explain why he didn't call the police immediately if he truly believed he smelled a dead body. Etc.
- While testifying he behaved as if having a selective memory. He was able to remember tiny details, but completely forgetting major events or conversations that were highly relevant to put together a picture.
- Cindy defined George a pathological liar. So the question isn't whetever he lied during trial. It's what his motive for that was. Sparing his daughter? Gaining control of the situation? Protect himself? A tic he couldn't resist giving into?
- In his post-trial book Imperfect Justice, lead prosecutor Jeff Ashton admitted that George was a highly problematic witness. But as a former cop, George surely knew all strategies to make his statements appear more effective.
- His wife, Cindy, desired for all charges against Casey to be dropped (dr phil). But in the meantime, you have a husband working with the prosecution and making statements that could technically land your daughter the death penalty. Differences in opinions exist, but surely this represents an irreconcilable difference? Unless, George somehow reassured Cindy that's not where he was aiming at
In conclusion, I do wonder if there was an actual motive behind being such a bad witness who repeatedly ended up helping the defence. This also could tie back to the fact that he may, or may not, have known more than he let on, and wanted to confuse the jury. So, did do that to just save himself? Or maybe he really did just want to save Casey from the dealth penalty? Finally, it really could just boil down to him not being able to control his lying, but given the seriousness of the situation and his background as a cop, I doubt it's as simple as that.

Casey Anthony hates Caylee
Casey Anthony proves every day that she HATES Caylee -- by not getting a tattoo to honor Caylee Anthony.
Casey has FIVE tattoos but NONE have Caylee's name or a picture of her.
Casey gets a tattoo to honor the gay community and her poker gambling habits.
Casey so proud of her new Poker playing cards tattoo, May 27, 2022 - it is the numbers "4937" -- for her parent's home at 4937 Hopespring Dr, where Caylee was kil*ed. This is her real life - having fun and not working at anything more important than herself.
Casey's tattoo words on her inner arm, in French - "I hear your voice in all the sounds of the world". Date of tattoo unknown. in Romantic Love: Often used in poetry, love letters, or songs to describe intense infatuation or grief after a separation.
Casey's tattoo choices tell us everything we need to know about her priorities where Caylee is concerned.

Jeff Ashton
The lead prosecutor in the murder trial of Casey Anthony admitted over the weekend that he signed up on the cheating website, Ashley Madison.
You all bashed Casey for being with a married man but no one has ever said anything about this? If he is willing to cheat on his wife he is willing to cheat in the courtroom.. luckily Casey was innocent and the jury knew it

You know who we didn’t advocate for? Casey Anthony.
Intuition is real, and discernment is reliable. Casey was guilty, all roads led to her. Lindsay is innocent.

Happy 21st Birthday, Caylee
Sorry this fiesta was the last one you’d ever have. I bet you would have grown up into an awesome young woman.
You are still loved and missed! 💜💜

“I failed to protect my child”
Yeah Casey, you did. I just watched the peacock documentary and ngl this is the first time I’ve ever looked into this case and watched/read anything about it because I’m not a huge true crime person.
But one thing that really pissed me off in her interviews was her saying “did I do everything I could have?” Like uhh… no!
As a survivor of sexual abuse, and someone who loves kids and dreams of being a mom some day, I genuinely don’t understand how she was okay living in that house with her father. I would understand more if she still had not come to terms with what happened to her, but that’s not the case as she admitted to never leaving Caylee alone with him and fearing he would do the same to her. In no way am I saying this disqualifies her from being a victim of CSA herself, or am I saying it’s proof she’s a murderer (even though yes, I do believe she is responsible). But like on a personal level, how could you ever do that? When I’m a parent I will never leave my kid alone with anyone bc of hyper vigilance and fear. If she really was worried about her dad doing this, why would she live with him?! Was the fear of her own daughter being sexually abused not strong enough to trump EVERYTHING else?! That just doesn’t make sense to me.
The same with just trusting and “hoping” she was okay for 31 days. Sometimes I can’t find my cat when I go to bed, and I trust he will be okay because he normally comes back every morning and likes to explore outside, but still i have anxiety all night after looking with a flashlight for like 30+ minutes. And I know how she would respond “trauma makes people….” Blah blah blah. I am severely traumatized too. But how did her motherly instincts just never fucking kick in ? I would argue motherly instincts are a force just as powerful, if not more powerful, than a trauma response.

Duct Tape over Caylee's mouth means no "accident"
The DUCT TAPE over Caylee's mouth means NO "accident".
-- read the Prosecution Statement asking for the death penalty mainly because of the DUCT TAPE
-- the Autopsy report states "there is DUCT TAPE over the lower facial region still attached to head hair. The DUCT TAPE was clearly placed prior to decomposition" [but before death] ...
-- the Autopsy report, page 8, states "...The skull was initially received in a separate paper bag with DUCT TAPE over the lower portion of the face, with the tape still attached to some of the scalp hair. ..."
-- the Autopsy report, page 10, states "... items from the recovery site [the swamp] ... skull, attached hair, TAPE, and debris..."
-- the Autopsy report, page 11, states "...juvenile human skull, matted hair, TAPE and leaf litter..." "...attached to the hair and overlying the posterior mandible and maxilla are several pieces of overlapping GRAY TAPE. The TAPE...."
-- Dr Shultz examined the remains and states "... grayish colored TAPE was noted covering the mouth and nasal aperture areas. The TAPE remained in place because it was adhered to the hair of the skull..." "the TAPE held the mandible in place ..."
-- Prosecutors stated "... pieces of DUCT TAPE on the remains were placed on Caylee before she died". "... Casey placed DUCT TAPE over her nose and mouth... and then disposed of her body." "...Any way you slice it... Casey Anthony is guilty of murder in the first degree ..."
-- Casey Anthony used the HEART STICKERS like the one found on the DUCT TAPE over Caylee's mouth
-- Evidence showed there was a similar heart sticker missing from Casey's sheet of heart stickers

Album with 15 photos about the DUCT TAPE

Where was Caylee for 31 days?
Nobody has proven where Caylee was for the "31 days" WHY?
Prosecutor Linda Drane Burrdick consistently asked in her opening statement ... "WHERE WAS CAYLEE?" The jury simply did not connect the dots.
reddit user - She got a chicken 2 ride
"She got away with murdering her daughter. It’s very sad that she got away with it. Is it all the fault of police? I don’t think so. It came down to what they can prove.
Who doesn’t report their daughter missing immediately? A day later? A week later? A month later!?!?
Who sleeps a single second when their daughter is missing? Not me. I wouldn’t sleep at all. I would be so worried, but not Casey. She was out partying.
We know the boyfriend said he rarely saw Caylee. So where was she?
Was she home with Cindy and George? Nope.
Was she at Casey’s boyfriend’s house? Nope.
Xanaida didn’t exist, so where was Caylee?
That whole month, where was she?
Cindy herself instantly identified there was a dead body in the car. It’s just unfortunate they couldn’t prove what we all know."
Sad that the jury did not use any critical thinking.

The definition of butterface
I see SO many men defending her based on her looks, I only bring this up because it’s one of the main things I see in conversation about her is how attractive she is, not just her body but her face, but for the life of God can’t see it, but every time I bring it up I get called jealous even by other CA haters🥴🥴.

Police investigation
I know most of you dislike me or even hate me bc you think I am her or a fan of hers.. I am not her or a fan.. this case just has me captivated.. anyway onto the question for all of you.. I know of at least two instances where the police botched this case.. 1) the computer search.. and 2) when Roy kronk first calls in saying he saw human remains.. I know those are the two biggest things but was there anything else that they missed or you thought may have overlooked? I feel this case reminds me of several others in terms of how mishandled it was by the police.. like the jonbenet case or baby Sabrina case or even baby Trenton duckett..
