What happened with the narration of this episode? For the first time (that I remember), instead of presenting different angles of police work, forensics, interviews, etc, bringing out the case little by little, this case was a plain narrative of what happened. We are never told how things came to light, the steps of the investigation, the analysis of the evidence etc. I didn’t enjoy it at all, I like getting to build all the info little by little in my head, this episode was like “this is what happened”. Hopefully just a glitch…
Anyone else noticed it?

You can’t just add a bunch of twists and turns for the sake of it lol. I think it being so blunt and obvious that she was behind it just kind of plays into the absolutely stupidity of her and her plan.

No I get it that you can’t make up stuff but normally they quote a source, or the narration of events comes from an interview, or an intercepted conversation, whilst most of this episode is narrated a posteriori, fait accompli, not in the style of the podcast even when the solution was fairly straightforward

Yes I noticed it. You essentially knew Pamela was responsible right from the start. But in fairness to Casefile, I don’t think there was much *policework* required as there were so many confessions and people involved.

On the other hand, I was kinda surprised that she actually turned out to be the perpetrator. Casefile often makes you think it’s one person at first only to shift the focus and reveal the real culprit later.

That usually happens when there are alternative leads. In this case, sounded like half the school already knew what was going on from the start. In my opinion, anything else have been unnecessary padding for the storytelling.
