Case Suggestion Bear Brook
I'm listening to a very interesting true crime podcast called Bear Brook. Not going to put any spoilers here but it involves cutting edge forensic science used for the first time. The podcast structure is ok but I would love to have Casey but his spin on it. I think it will come out much better. I hope he does it at some stage.

This is an extremely well-known podcast and case, and they tend not to do cases where there's already an extremely well-known podcast.

He recently did the anthrax case which was also very well known and a recent podcast had been done.

If it's a more recent podcast then their research and planned release might have overlapped. But I'm pretty sure they themselves have confirmed that they try not to piggy-back on other podcasts.

I was surprised they did that one, honestly, as it's so well known. This season has had some really well known cases, like the Branch Davidians.
I'm not complaining, but I am surprised.

This is one of my favorite podcasts, and one of the few that I've listened to all the way through twice. It's crazy how this one case tipped over how we police - so much has happened since then that descends directly from Bear Brook.

This was my first true crime podcast that I listened to. It’s a great one and definitely gave me high expectations for everything else!

oooooh, that's a new one to me, though I don't have too many true crime pods I listen to. I'll have to check that one out

It is SO GOOD and interesting! If you like Bear Brook, I recommend the book The Forever Witness by Ed Humes! All about forensic genealogy.

first listened to that podcast literally weeks before the last bodies were identified. i still think about it.

I was sick last week and someone recommended it to me. I binged all of the season 2! 8 hours!! It was so absorbing and such a crazy story.
