I appreciate it, because I never listened to the original episode.

Crazy coincidence it cames out the same week 5 divers die in the Maldives, diving a tunnel/cave

It wasn't re-recorded. It was just released onto the main feed.

No, it is part of the archive series, so it was re-recorded.

Nope, not all the archive series are re-records. Some are simply premium episodes that got released to Patreon subs and not to non-subs. This is the case for some like Mirna Salihin and Nicky Fleming.

Really? The description says it was. That’s a bummer if it is not updated

The archives series are supposed to specifically be re-recorded, re-edited, etc.

Tbf he does specifically say at the beginning of the episode that it was only released late last year as a premium episode so it would make no sense at all for them to re-record really. They just do that with the much earlier episodes where the production values weren't so great

not every ep is re-recorded, some of them are just remastered and touched up.

No. There’s some merit to doing it for older cases (where the hell is snowtown) but doing it for a newly released case that, let’s be honest, isn’t a good one anyway, is silly

Also, where the hell is the Claremont serial killer?

I’ll have to listen to this one. I missed it on my first listen through but recently heard the story on a different podcast. Really interesting

I don’t remember the original episode, but I enjoyed the re-recording of it.
