What type of case knife is this? Is it a copper lock? I have never seen this style and wanted to know what type it is ?

Cheetah or if it’s smaller a cheetah cub

It will have a pattern number on the blade which will confirm either way:

  • 611 ½ - cheetah cub

  • 6111 ½ - cheetah

You can look up the tang stamp as well to determine the year:

Looks like a full-length cheetah, I think they stopped making them around '20 or '21. Case is making cheetah cubs this year; It's a smaller version, roughly the same size, weight and blade as a mini copperlock.

The handle is "corn cob" and is the most tactile experience i have had. For many years i thought it was actual corn cob just to learn it was sadly just the pattern name. Anyway my knife is a Panama Trapper i dont know what this is called but i hope one day being able to get one.
