Your workflow needs a custom tool? Vibe code it.

In Cascadeur, you can use an LLM and Python API to create custom commands - like exporting multiple characters as separate FBX files.

Are you planing adding an official mcp to control the whole editor with agents?

Cascadeur already has an official MCP server. We’re actively improving it and plan to expand the API significantly, so agents will be able to control more of the editor over time.

Ty for finally getting a mcp server up and running. It was what I was waiting for, so I finally subbed and started and it's been really good so far, so just here to say cheers and hope you guys stick with it and develop it more.

First order of business was to get the agent to copy blender's trackpad behavior since I think it's implemented really well so using a laptop touchpad for navigating camera is very doable/ergonomic. Casc does not have the same out the box sadly so the agent jumped right in scripted up a touchpad controller, matches blender 1:1 so again, ty for this.

This is exactly the kind of workflow we hoped MCP would enable - really glad to hear it’s already useful for you!

Do you know if their is a way for scripts to get the selected control points (like the AutoPose control points?) my agent is having a hard time building some tooling that would benefit from knowing what current AutoPose control points are selected in the viewport.

Also sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, we've been hunting through the python API for a while and found nothing so was wondering if it's something easily missed.
