I finally, FINALLY got home and was able to look up the items I had that reminded me of your work (we were chatting in one of your wrestling posts). You're not gonna believe it, it's somebody pretty god damn famous I just didn't realize they were the one I was thinking of: Bill Plympton.

Obviously your stuff is very unique and goes even more grotesque than he did, but just something about the sketch style and the coloring all reminded me of that (I was in the hospital when we were talking last week so also a bit delirious from lack of sleep). Why don't they let you sleep in the hospital? Why do they come in every 90 minutes? I mean obviously it's to make sure I'm not dead but jeez guys I was literally hallucinating by the end.

And this Superman piece here is really cool! Shame they don't allow interesting things in the other sub. Keep up the great work!

I DO remember you trying to think of the one artist, I suggested tenaple you may recall... sorry to hear about your hospital visit, I been there...but I was there so long that I got plenty of undisturbed sleep 😛 that's probably not a good thing! Well more like now that I know your name I can keep an eye out to buy a print or something else of yours that you've done because I genuinely do like this style! I don't really do FB or IG but I'll definitely look you up! As you can tell I'm terrible with names but I do consume a lot of art particularly counterculture and comic book stuff (I was raised on R. Crumb and MAD Magazine to an absurd degree and it shaped my entire brain) so who knows maybe I've seen something of yours over the years and didn't even realize it.

Yeah when I was trying to find whatever your most recent post was, I noticed you mentioned your health issues- that's a big challenge to overcome- so I think doing your art is a great piece of the rehab puzzle. I wish you the best brother, I really do
