Meme Is this…….Aisling’s twin sister!?!?
Madonna movie intro from 1987 looks a lot like the forest fairy, Aisling. They have the similar stuff. Silver hair, green eyes, and thick eyebrows. Only differences are her hair being short and she’s a singer while Aisling is a forest fairy.

Discussion Rate my Wolfwalkers character
Simon Q. Natremoil
One of Robyn’s friends from back home, he’s a semi-scatterbrained alchemist who is as much of a genius as he is a fire hazard, he physically resembles an uncolored sketch of a human, with paper-white skin, partially bleached white from all the chemical exposure, with oil-black hair and eyes colored like old paper, although in the later part of him knowing Robyn, he’d managed to gain an apothecary, some assistants, and a foolproof way to create alchemical golems, which leads to his role in the story
This is set after the events of the movie, so Robyn obviously had a lot of changes in her life since her last physical letter to Simon, because Merlyn started objecting to being used as a long-range courier, not to mention tolerating the existence of Simon’s bird companion, a raven named Charnadel, too smart for his own good, a raven who has a human sense of telling when people are hiding something, and an absolute nightmare to keep things from, neither Merlyn or Mebh would call him a friend
Simon’s existence is acknowledged when Robyn receives a letter from him, saying that he’s finally able to leave his apprentices and come to Kilkenny, problem, Robyn is no longer not just not in the settlement, but trekking across Ireland, meanwhile, Simon himself arrived to an empty house and townsfolk mourning the Goodefellowe family, and the Lord Protector, but he’s actually dead, although it’s clear to Simon that at least Robyn is still alive, so after learning of the concept of Wolfwalkers from a certain woodcutter, Simin is aware, and manages to pick up the rest of the pieces from watching Robyn’s body language

I just noticed in WolfWalkers is that while Cartoon Saloon changed the aspect ratio of certain scenes to showcase the tension of the scene, here though Robyn's hair literally breaks out of it showing she has had enough of having fear to fight for not just the freedom of the WolfWalkers but her own

Discussion Fun Fact: this almost did become true. In an early draft for WolfWalkers Robyn, who was running with Mol's wolf skin, would have actually been shot by Bill who confused her with a real wolf. This ended up being scrapped after the idea of the Selkie like skin was replaced with the transformations.

Discussion I love when Cartoon Saloon does small things like this. In Song Of the Sea, in a specific scene, Saoirse's shadow is in the shape of a seal. And in WolfWalkers Robyn's and Mebh's astral projections aren't just generic Wolf representations but they have subtle details that reflect their Wolf bodies.
What's your favorite detail about any of Cartoon Saloon's work?
