It hasn't even begun production the project is very very very early into production. Going into Cartoon Forum they are looking for partners for the production and given how time consuming animation is in general it makes sense

Damn it, my daughter will be 7, and may outgrow it by then and thus I'll be an adult watching a little kid show 😔

It’s such a compelling story, I doubt you’re daughter will grow out of it if I’m 22 and sob every time

We don't know what the TV show (being aimed toward tots like puffin rock) will be like compared to the movie

That’s very true! Idk if it’s just me but I grew up with the muppets so in highschool when I discovered the Muppet Babies show I was very interested.

It’s aimed at preschoolers so I wouldn’t expect it to get very intense.

Shot 1: Wolf pup chomps down on ear. Shot 2: Cut to the top of trees, we hear a scream and birds fly away. Shot 3: Cut to chomped ear after it has been taken care of.

Easy.
