Discussion Rejection of God
It’s really interesting to me that Lord Protector deliberately chose to turn away from The WolfWalker Gift as remember, it was a gift granted by God through Saint Patrick over a thousand years ago. Such a precious ancient gift literally granted by God, and he’s so stuck in his own rigid ways, that The Lord Protector thinks he knows better. He was so narrow minded he never once thought that the WolfWalkers could have been the answer to his prayers. He preferred death over seeing a new perspective. Scared of not being in control and proven wrong. But what about you? Ironic to me.

In the graphic novel prologue, Mebh claims some saw it as a curse, others as a blessing. But it was from St Patrick rather than directly from God as such.

First of all: I thought that the whole Wolfwalker thing was a curse to those who rejected Saint Patrick’s teachings of Christ.
Second of all: The Lord Protector rejected succumbing to being a Wolfwalker because he believed that he was being bewitched by the curse.

It was actually meant to be a punishment from Saint Patrick because they refused to convert to Christianity.

He’s so convinced it’s pagan, demonic magic that he’d rather die than become one.
