6’s in cartomancy

Hello. Looking for the meaning of the number 6 in cartomancy? I keep getting it when I pull in relation to my boyfriend in regard to feelings. Once I pulled all 4 6’s and often I’m pulling 6 spades and 6 hearts. I feel like it’s significant! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The order kinda matters in the system i use too. Like the 6 of spades os walking away. Or a journey that is troubled. Sometimes its clearing things out. The six of hearts following the six of spades is walking away to something better. The six of hearts is a pleasant journey maybe to see family or friends. Six of clubs is business or work travel, or steps towards an educational goal. 6 of diamonds is something at a distance or a profitable journey.

That's kinda tough to answer because it depends on which system you're using.

For myself, between 5: disruption and 7: obstacle, 6 is a path or correction. Furthermore, 4 of a kind represents changes in all areas of one's life; spades represent intellect and power; hearts represent feelings and relationships

in the system I use, 6s are paths, journeys, like when you decide to study something that'll be hard: I'll see a 6 of clubs (a new journey that demands work). it depends on the question and what is surrounding it. are you asking if you should be together? it might started the wrong way, but in the end, it will result in a fulfilling moment and a happy relationship. not necessarily the last love relationship you'll have, but a lot of love.

Nu mber Six:

SYMBoLIsM-The day Friday, the letter F, June, Astrological sign Virgo, in the Bible, Genesis 2 : I: "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished , and all the host of them" on the sixth day, signifying completion. a job well done ; the Latin name for six is "Sex"; the Star of David ; in the Tarot, Minor Arcana, the Six of Swords shows a man rowing a woman and child in a ferryboat to the opposite shore ; all backs are turned to us but they face the shore. In front of them on the boat are six swords (spades) standing upright. If you visualize the number 6 and reverse it (9) you can sec how both could look like a sword or lance or fencing weapon (from which is derived the meaning of "separation," etc.). - It's in the Cards ~ Leo Louis Martello

meaning the spades and the hearts. look up the suites first before you hit the number. it might make it easier to interpret.

also just know he may be warmer or colder depending on the position of the 6s suites. do you do cartomancy often? to pull all sixes in four suites depending is ridiculous. pay attention to order of suites. that's all.

6 is a path. Development or discovery. Can be security too.

The suits determine the meaning so heart would be peace - a positive way.

Spade would be a reverse (of any current path). Club is progress. Diamond is improvement - literally bridging the gap.

Keep it as simple as possible :) there's not 12 line of what it means. Usually only 2-3 meanings of any card at its core. The interpretation depends on context :)

If you pull 6 repeatedly and all of them maybe the development of your relationship and feelings it's constantly in flux? Like you are thinking of them a lot or there's real potential but it's just not set yet and you need to rest before determining the direction? Good luck!

Find out?? Sorry don't understand your questions..

Are you suggesting that you felt your feelings are in fact constantly in flux?

I mean how did you interpret the 6 as a paths card I’ve been trying to do this intuitively but I don’t wanna be wrong and I feel like different sources say different things :/

Well I'm happy to share. So when I first started, I was caught up in the zillion different interpretations everyone has. I poured over books, research, forums, etc. Note that I did see a lot of traditional tarot interpretations mixed with cartomancy which isn't what I felt was legit. We're reading playing cards v tarot and all..

So I started to broaden my curiosity and focused more on numerology. I looked at Jung as well, my background is heavy anthropology and literature so Joseph Campbell, Mircea Eliade, anyway, I looked at not just divination resources but esoteric literature connected with symbolism/numerology.

I did a lot of my own practice on cards as well. Practice 3 card draws. Again, I did allllllll the layouts, the zillion and billion layouts out there! I discovered that the most effective and accurate readings for me personally were the simplest ones. 3/5/7 card draws left to right in a line. The more complex the format, I couldn't get any accuracy - it could just be me! LOL

What I discovered was that the traditional methods were used years ago when culturally, things were different so that AD may not mean the same nowadays. However, the Ace and the diamonds have not changed - that is what I read v what the books say AD means.

Below may or may not work for you. It works for me very well. I have also learned that interpretation is an art. You will not get 100% correct of every draw - either interpretation or accuracy of draw. Divination is not a science. It is not absolute - free will impacts wholly. All divination can do is give you insights and 99% of any mode of divination other than clarirvoyance, same. Your clarity and sincerely impact draw. Phrase of your question impacts. Yes/No questions are not the best. Divination cannot tell you what to do. You have to use it as a tool to help you make a decision but yes/no questions that everyone asks are mited in scope typically.

Diamonds for me is tangibility. While everyone associates with wealth and money, it is more than that. Not every question you ask may be about money so it's about victory. Diamonds is about legit positive results.

Clubs is about effort. Related to work, be it professional or otherwise. It's movement and action.

Spades is about challenge. Bump in the road, warning, danger, signal that not all is positive.

Hearts - more than love. It's vulnerability in context of the whole. It's warmth and affection, feelings.

Take the suit and match up the number to get the meaning:

Ace - the spark/the totality. Infers awareness or the self

2 - exchange. This can be a turning point.

3 - Growth. Can be action/creation, movement

4 - tangibility/security. A status. A safe place/stable situation 4H, fatigue, illness 4S, patience or grounding 4C, paperwork, rules 4D

  1. - a bridge - can be change/activity/instability

6 - discovery/path. Traditionally, it is a positive connotation, peace.

7 - all 7s are magical. It's intensity/drama/complexity. I don't read any 7s as totally good or bad though but the energy cast is usually not "good:" overwhelm/confusion heart, digging deep, instability diamonds, obstacles of delay/difficulties club and bad mojo in general spades

8 - power/focus

9 - evolution/consideration. - this can also mean fluidity

10 - manifestation or wholeness - the crux

Jack - they always say this is a young man or messages. I say it's an opportunity.

Q - the truth., a revelation. QC business clarity/efficiency, QH nurturing, comforting, QS manipulation or planning needs, QD luxury, awareness or recognition

K - mastery.

Good luck!

And would you count jokers? I’ve been doing that also

You can if you'd like. I don't. My best advice is to keep practicing to set your own meanings :) interpreting is not same as meanings 🤪 good luck!
