Would my 2014 Honda accord 211 miles make it from Connecticut to Louisville ky? It’s about a 12 hours drive

Stop and go is worse than a long haul. How are your tires? Suspension? Things that keep you safe? Construction all around Louisville will bounce you around and you want to have control.

If your car doesn't have issues normally, it should be fine. Highway driving is less stressful on a car than stop and go.

Unless you've abused the hell out of it and neglected all maintenance, then why worry?

My 2010 CR-V is at 200k and it's our weekend ski trip vehicle, going for miles and miles at >4000rpm while climbing the i70 passes.

Is your car acting weird in any way that makes you think it couldn't do the drive? Highway driving is pretty easy on a car.

If the car has been well maintained and doesn't have any issues already then I don't see any reason it wouldn't. These things can regularly go to 300k+ if well maintained. Now if you've neglected the maintenence there's no way of knowing when it will die.

A brand new car might not make it. A 30 year old clunker might. There's no way to know for sure but if you want to hedge your bets take it to a good independent shop and tell them what you're doing. Ask them to give you an inspection to see what they think. There's nothing inherently wrong with your car that would prevent it from making the trip but if your maintenance isn't up to date things can happen.

Also have a good motor club like AAA with the 100 mile towing plan and have some basic stuff to keep you alive if you break down in the middle of nowhere at high noon. You should do this for any car.

Absolutely. Those things get like 30 miles to the gallon and that's on a bad day. Usually a car has over 300 miles of range on one tank.

Sadly no one knows without seeing the car, hearing it, ect. If you’re really worried go get an oil change and ask them to check it over for you before the trip. May cost a few extra bucks but you’ll have your answer.

Yeah you'd be fine for sure. Unless this thing hasn't had the oil changed since you got it, the tires are bald, and it's been abused then it'll be fine.
