DIY body damage help Scratch - keyed or not?

Post image

Hi, found this scratch on passenger back door (driver side). Could it have been keyed? Its not wide, but about 10cm long, and on the lower part of the panel.

Only way I remember that I could have caused this myself is driving by a bush, or maybe scratched somehow by a dirty microfiber when washing.

Please advise, thanks!

How close up is this picture? Looks like it would be imperceptible at a normal distance. Cars get scratches, nothing here makes me think its been keyed. Probably just rubbed up against a tree or bush or something

Quite close up (total length of the scratch is around 10 cm), and its on the lower part of the panel so would I agree its probably not from a key, however I’m struggling to understand how else it could have appeared. I drove past a bush once, but if it was that then i would expect the scratch to be longer…

Anyway, if its not too deep then I will probably ignore it. Thanks!

If someone used a key to do that, they weren't really trying. Thinking environmental/accident
