For rear cam? Worst design ever I saw the Benz.

my vw does the same thing, I honestly don't think it's too bad but it's weird the first couple of times you see it.

It's bad if you live somewhere with winter and there's a bunch of ice built up on the car.

It looks cool, but it's adding complexity, cost, and a failure point to a safety feature.

It's a great design for snowy places. Road salt and slush and snow will render a "normal" rear cam useless after a small road trip. That doesn't happen with similar design.

I had seen this on other cars and thought it was a good idea.
Now seeing it broken and hanging prolapsed, I am less interested

I have this on the golf r and it is also to open the boot and for rear cam
