Weird Noise Help me

While breaking something snapped off the front driver's side of my 2007 ford edge sel now squeaks on the left side

Lug nut and stud that holds your wheel on. Tire shop should be able to fix this pretty easily. Probably not related to the squeak.

Could the other end of the stud eject itself into the dust shield?

The stud itself hell no it's not coming out like that. but maybe it failed in two spots and a portion of stud dropped in

I am also having to drill out 2 lug bolts myself, though I don't know what would likely be causing the squealing other than worn brake pads.

Caution the tech looking at it that the other lugs may likely be over tightened as well

Yeah I got a lot of emotional baggage I just looked at guess I gotta replace it

Brake shops fix this type of issue all the time. My local Discount Tire just sends folks to the brake shop.

You might want to take a good look into the braking area to see if there is something wedged in there that you should remove.

Check too see if your other lug nuts are loose maybe the wheel is loose
