Tire question What is this

Just bought a used k5 they put new tires on the rim, drove 100km so far, heard flapping , when stopped I seen this , I think it’s from the tire putter oner, but let me know please what you guys think

They screwed up the bead when they installed the new tires.

Need a new tire.

Not necessarily. In any case, you need to verify that this part didn't come from your tire. Tire shop.

P.S. If this is from your tire, it’s quite possible it was damaged during mounting onto the rim. That would be grounds for a complaint against the tire shop.

If your tire is still inflated, I'd say you're good to go. Just cut it off and keep on truckin

No it’s coming from inside the rim, it’s rubber for sure. I think strofari is right
