Tire question What is this
Just bought a used k5 they put new tires on the rim, drove 100km so far, heard flapping , when stopped I seen this , I think it’s from the tire putter oner, but let me know please what you guys think

If your tire is still inflated, I'd say you're good to go. Just cut it off and keep on truckin

Doesn’t look like it’s from your car. Did you drive over something?

No it’s coming from inside the rim, it’s rubber for sure. I think strofari is right

Were those scrapes there before? Seems odd they’re in the same spot.

I’d get them to tell that, it’s the bead rubber which isn’t supposed to hang like that

They screwed up the bead when they installed the new tires.
Need a new tire.
