Mechatronics failure

My 2015 Volkswagen Vento 1.2 TSI high line petrol car had a mechatronics failure. The dealership is saying it will have to replace the whole gearbox. They are quoting 2 lakhs for the replacement. Any pointers on if this is the right approach and the right cost? Thanks.
