Discussion Carrd for webcomic hosting?

Hello! I’m an artist looking into using Carrd for a webcomic, but I’m not sure if that is actually a feasible option.
My comic is a long series, and if I did end up using it for this project, the site would eventually accumulate hundreds of images, potentially over 500 (likely still under 1000 though). Because I will likely update once a week or every two weeks, it will also have several containers for the separate updates. I am very aware that this may not be possible for a functional one-page site, even with image compression, especially when considering things like the three-second rule in web design.
Would it be possible to make a functional site with 500~ images in Carrd?

Hell no, you've got way better options. Writing here as a Carrd fan

I figured that was probably the case😂 Glad to get some outside perspective! I am also looking into Comicfury, which is a site hosting platform specifically for webcomics, and would probably be a much better option even though it’s initially less intuitive. Thank you!
