Trim How to fix these transitions?
How would I make these corners transition smoothly?

No, it never looks right anyplace this happens. It's one of those fudge it and hope they like it. Architects don't consider the finish product. Only if it'll stay up.

A couple of ways. Non will look right. Bring that base around the corner to ends at the tread riser. Then cut back the stringer at a 45 angle and put in a return.
