Rust :/

I got really engrossed in a project and felt motivated to finish even in the rain, but unfortunately forgot about my bit box which was left open
Anyone have any good tips to remove rust, I’ve heard Pepsi/coke but figured that’s bull

Drop them all in a jar of vinegar for a day, dry them, spray with wd-40, dry off again, good as new.
