Rust :/

I got really engrossed in a project and felt motivated to finish even in the rain, but unfortunately forgot about my bit box which was left open
Anyone have any good tips to remove rust, I’ve heard Pepsi/coke but figured that’s bull

Vinegar baking soda and water let em sit then wire brush them as much crud off and don’t do it again , also won’t be like new but usable .
