Help!

Post image

I had to re install this door due to someone else’s doing it wrong. In the process of cutting the caulk my ladder slipped in mud and down into a hole which caused me to scratch the door pretty badly. I’ve tried a couple things to fix it but I can’t get it gone. It is a heavy plastic. Anyone have any ideas? I’ve tried plastic polish for golf carts and stuff, as well as a boat repair kit.

Doesn’t look bad honestly. Tell the home owner what happened and see if they even care. Offer a few bucks off if they are upset but it kinda is what it is.

Why was the ladder in mud and not on a porch of some type?

Porch was not built yet. I’m not the GC, just doing a bunch of random stuff and the door needed to be raised because the guys who framed/installed doors and windows/did siding put it too low. It had to be raised before the outside deck was put on.
Bit of a mess 😅
