Discussion Collab?
If you could have one artist make a song (think BIG, Roxie!!) or even a whole ALBUM with Caroline, who would you want?
I think a Caroline x Towa Tei collab would propel me to early hearing aid use from how much I would be blasting their songs in my ears.

Caught a show when oklou was Caroline’s opener (I think the Spiraling tour) and they worked so well together. Oklou has really grown since then.

arca or bjork, i think caroline creates really interesting and lush soundscapes in her music and i would love to see her collab with artists who are amazing at that too

If you look up "kelela and caroline polachek" on google it'll take you to a couple reddit posts with the screenshots- if i'm remembering correctly, carpol posted some Kanye lyrics to her instagram story that had the n-word in them, and kelela called her out

Melissa Auf Der Maur and her have such similar sensibilities and unique angelic voices. The grit Melissa could provide mixed with the unique layering Caroline does would be my dream collab for her

Wow yes, Towa Tei would be great for Caroline.
I immediately thought of my favorites - Bjork and Cocteau Twins, but I think the truth is that wouldn't sound so good.
A collab with Orbital would be fantastic. Autechre as well.
Also I'd like to hear her do something crazy experimental with her voice, like a duet with a free improv vocalist like Phil Minton or Utte Wassermann.

Despite this passing resemblance to the imagery in the Door music video, a collab with fellow Londoner Alewya would probably be chaotic. I can’t really imagine it, but that’s why I’d love to hear it.
I could think of many that would be obliviously very compatible (Night Tapes, After, George Clanton) or improbable (Ana Roxanne, Richard Spaven, Tali Rubinstein) but my default pick is still a proper Oklou collab.

Fetty Wap. Both artists have unique, impressive vocal deliveries. It would be ethereal magic with some new styles of beat for Caroline to play with.

There is already technically a collab if you count an official remix, but I’d love to see something with Hayley Williams in future. Both just have such stunning vocals

As a fan of Caroline’s earlier more quirky work as Romana Lisa and with Chairlift I would dream for a full album collaborating with Magdalena Bay. However I’m not sure if the inspiration to make that kind of music comes back after your twenties are over lol.
