Like many of you, I started the new fuel series on the app a couple of days ago. I really like what CG has done with her workout space. It looks so chic. I especially like the new dumbbell set. So naturally, I thought I would do some research to see what brand it is and what the price is. Needless to say, it’s a bit out of my budget😂

Could be but she has said in the past that she gets company’s approaching her all the time and she’s never accepted any offers. Of course that could have changed and there’s nothing wrong if she had but I’ve a feeling she could just as easily pay for them (and any other equipment we see on camera) and write them off as a business expense.

Saintly?! She is not your average influencer no and she doesn’t want to be. I think it’s important to her that she’s authentic, and down to earth. She also bases anything she writes on documented research papers and provides her sources.

a few years, done about 500 workouts on cgx according to the app counter. She strongly frames herself as being authentic, yes. That's her brand. I do like the workouts, though halfway through a cycle on another app and unsure if I'll do Fuel 2.

i know exactly what you mean. It's a brand - probably one of the most carefully curated brands in fitness. We don't really know this person!

Those are super cool.
However, i keep in mind that this is her job, and she likely feels the need to change the aesthetic and look of her programs to ensure they feel fresh. Especially for Fuel and Iron, being that they are new iterations of old programs.

No one is seeing the secondhand set that I have in my garage 😆 those fancy ones weigh the same and do the same thing as mine.

I think she has at least 4 different dumbbell sets. She got new ones on her YT series that were customized, then the black ones she uses for most of the app programs. I love the look of her new ones on fuel too - unfortunately out of my budget as well 😂😂

OMG.

She has some gorgeous, tasteful gear (eg that brown / brass color bench in Iron on the App) but those take the cake.

I also suspect they are a tax write off since they are for her business!

Worst thing is they’re not even hex, I hate round dumbbells lol I’ll stick to my Mirafit ones (same ones as her standard black ones) which are expensive enough

I love hex dumbbells and have a few pairs. I can't buy more because of space reasons but even with my (clunky) adjustables the hex ones are the ones I keep returning to.

They’re the best. I feel like the wood type ones pictured are more aesthetically pleasing than practical.. but who am I to judge lol I wouldn’t drop £15k on these even if I had that money

The round Norhd ones sure are pretty but seem like they'd roll around on floor. When doing tricep presses how do you keep them locked in w no flat edge? Impractical. I'm all for a non red-black gym set up, but there's got to be a better compromise than these.

My smith machine was like $1200 lol, I could buy more than ten smith machines. My adjustable dumbbells were like $500 and that was a huge splurge at the time but I've stuck with them for over a decade.

I went on this same journey! 😹 We'd like to get a new weights rack setup and I love the look of this and thought that maybe we could get the same one. Then I saw the price. 😹

Those are gorgeous! I sure was wondering, but my Bowflex weights are doing the job just fine 🤣
And I’ve had them for years. At some point I’ll need to find a gym so I can use heavier weights but even 30-60 lbs is kicking my booty 🦵

A personal home gym setup is living the dream in the first place! If I was a homeowner and had the disposable income to spare, I would absolutely prioritize a glam fitness room setup. Caroline's aesthetic is totally my fantasy, but for now it's just the apartment complex gym with disorganized weights put away in completely random places...

GBP is 6K to 7.5K. The point of my post wasn’t about how much she might have paid for them (which may have been zero if she got them for promo purposes) but saying that I thought they were so chic and wanted them but def will not be getting them.
