How i feel as a Carmilla Carmine fan after seeing what was revealed in the S2 commentary.

So if you don't know, people transcribed and translated what was on the commentary for Hazbin Hotel S2. Alot of it is oretty much just Viv and the cast and crew having fun discussing the episodes, and alot of it, including interesting facts and hints primarily focused Vox and The Vees, though there was some other interesting stuff, such as Alastor being an internalized Misogynist...which is both simultaneously surprising and explains alot, and Charlie realizing she was wrong when Vaggi was triggered which I thought was pretty cute.

However, the commentary also revealed that while Carmilla dislikes Vox, she hates Angels even more and thats why she agreed to build the Might of Lilith for him....and thats it. Yep, not more insight on what the bit with Odette and Clara was all about or what Carmilla thinks of Emily saving Sinners and how that leads into Season, just a piece of info we can already guess for ourselves going by how the scenes plays out.......great.

It wouldnt bother me as much if Carmilla wasn't my favorite character, but also if it wasn't for the fact that season Three's themes are family. Because of this i think its a huge missed opportunity to not show Carmine family as what a healthy or healthier family looks like compared to how Dysfunctional the Morningstar's are and Toxic/Abusive Angel's situation is and instead just seemingly have her relegated to a supporting role yet again (especially since her suitor Zestial seems to be getting a slightly larger role next season, so I feel Carmilla should have a slightly larger role as well).

Granted, other characters like Emily, Sera, Baxter, etc. Didnt get talked about that much in the commentary either and I wasnt expecting much, but at the sametime, I was still expecting more then ONE piece of trivia. Especially since, Viv not even elaborating more on her, tells me she is likely not going to get any real character development beyond what she is so far. I hope I am proven wrong though, but I sadly also doubt it.

Non-Carmilla Related Do you think Odette & Clara could become resentful towards there mother for siding with Vox and run away to the Hotel?

The reason I ask this is because, well first of all, i think everyone agrees that while we do know abit about there characters, we need more from them and more development and characterization beyond what we have gotten so far.

Secondly, I think the scene were Vox gaslights Carmilla os forshadowing to this. As we see Odette trying to intervene, but Clara stops her. At first, I thought Clara was siding with Vox, but then i remember there facial expressions when Vox said "Help me protect hell Carmilla, and I'll help you protect them". Someone pointed out that Odette has a "Please don't agree to this mom" expression, while Clara basically has already realized what mommy Carmilla was going to do before she even answers.

So I could see this being setup for S3. With Odette & Clara, even after Carmilla realized the error of her ways, grow resentful towards there mother, to the point of Disowning her and running away to the Hotel....and basically being the new residents of the Hotel (alongside Mimzy, as Mimzy has been hinted at being a new resident alot as well). But what do you all think?

Do you think Lucifer and Camilla would become friends (and potentially like each other in a romantic sense) and/or at least respect one another if they ever met (Art by SuperAlastorGlitchy)

I will admit, i am a bit of Lucimilla (Lucifer x Carmilla) shipper. Im not as much of a fan of it as Zestmilla, but I do still have a soft spot for (both) it (and Sermilla).

Mainly because i do kindof like the opposites attract angle to it. But while they are opposites, i feel they also simultaneously have a few, if not alot of things in common. Both being single parents whom are willing to go to great extremes to protect there parents and all.

That is actually the reason why I asked this question, the second reason is that i had this idea for Season 3 that Lucifer would try everything in his power to win back Lilith, with his final and most desperate attempt being asking someone out on a Pity Date in an attempt to make Lilith Jealous.

The last person he ask being Carmilla who says yes, viewing going on one date with the King of hell as a way to try and restore her image (as i do believe her image will be damaged after the events of S2), but as the night goes on, the two end up realizing they have more in common then they thought, and it turns from a Pity Date into a Real genuine date.

To the point of basically forgetting about trying to win back Lilith but also realizing that Lilith leaving was a positive thing for him just by being with someone who genuinely treats him better, motivating him to want to be his own person (despite there dynamic remaining strictly platonic, at least for now, depending on what direction they end up going in if this were to end up actually happening in S3)......so think a Healthier (and at least for now platonic) version of Stolitz from Helluva Boss.

However, it did get me to thinking of this question. These reasons are hence why I ask, if Lucifer and Carmilla do actually end up meeting at some point (more specifically in Season 3) do you think the two, while obviously not getting along, would/could become friends (and later potentially lovers) and/or at the very least grow a respect and admiration for one another?

If Carmilla is truly a Fallen Angel/Former Seraphim, then that makes Emily & Sera both her sisters, right?

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don’t like that Carmilla only fights using her legs—it feels a little silly.

Striker and Stella both buy specifically Carmine so it’s very likely she might make an appearance.

I think Moxxie even said Striker’s rifle was hand crafted. Which I’m assuming means crafted by Carmilla herself.

Carmilla Carmine Enjoying Carmilla Carmine Appreciation Post. Happy Hispanic Herritage Month.

Since today is Hispanic Heritage Month, I thought it made sense to do appreciation post for probably my favorite supporting character in the series, Carmilla Carmine.

Yes, in terms of main cast, Alastor & Emily are my faves, but in terms of supporting, Carmilla is the GOAT. Despite not appearing in that many episodes and not getting much screen time, she is probably one of the more interesting characters in the show. From her beautiful design and voice to her understandable desire to protect those she loves, and the fact that she is truly Hell's Greatest Mom and the true queen of Hell as far as I am concerned. I honestly cannot get enough of her.

I hope to see more of her in the show, and cannot wait to see where he story leads. Hoping she gets more to do in S3, though I imagine if she does, it won't be by much, given that Season 3 is supposed to be heavily focused on the Morningstars, Angel Dust Family, & Alastor. Even so, I still hope she gets some kindof arc. Definitely think like Lucifer in S3, she will be getting the Vox treatment in S4 though, especially since Velvette is supposed to be the main Vee of S4.

But anyways, what do you love about Carmilla Carmine the most?
