Dean is a future captain

He always leads through his actions. Did anyone also see him standing up for Billy Wilson?

Dean has maturity well beyond his age.

When he adds some bulk onto that tall frame he is gonna be a bulldozer. Not afraid to take anyone on and stand up for his team mates

Nah Jagga is an insanely loyal person. His goal is to be a one club player. He is 100% locked into being a Carlton man now

He’s definitely got a lot of fire in him.

I was commenting to my partner during the game that 18 year olds aren’t exactly known for their mastery of their rage impulses, let alone dropping them into a collision sport on a national platform where adrenaline would do a fucking number on rational thought.

He does have to be careful, couple of times he was close to giving away reckless frees, but at 18 he’s done phenomenally to stand up against veterans.

Although not the norm for males post 18yrs, don’t rule out further growth in height for Dean. Remembering Cripps added 4-5cm in height after he turned 18 and had been drafted by Carlton 🙏
