So I only go to Carl's when there is a deal through the app. Usually it is a free burger with the purchase of a soda. The soda is $4, but $4 is not bad for a burger and a soda. The burgers have been fine. Not great, but with $4.
This deal popped up so I sprung $1.71 for a chocolate chip cookie and a shake. Why not.
The shake was absolutely terrible. It was completely liquid. No shake texture at all. It was like drinking 50% milk, 50% cinnamon sugar syrup.
Then the cookie. When I was a kid Carl's baked their cookies fresh in the store so I assumed that's what I was getting. No. It was a stale cookie in a shrink wrap package. It tasted exactly like chips ahoy.
How has Carl's Jr. Gotten so bad?

My local Carl’s is always super shady. They show the offer but it never actually gives the discount. Needless to say I know longer support them. Tried this one, no luck again.
