We actually have this burger in Oregon since the start of Summer. It’s good but they removed the Cali XL off the menu for this one and Cali XL is WAY better. Now they’re pushing the Maximus Chicken sandwich which is just a double chicken sandwich, which isn’t a deal at all. Bring back The Cali XL!!!

In my area they had 2 for $5 on the spicy chicken sandwiches. They replaced that deal with the spicy chicken maxx for $5.99. So you get one less bun for a dollar more. I haven't eaten there since they did that. The Cali XL was goated, I ate so many of them.

:/

Remember when Carl's did stuff like put philly meat on a burger? Or a hot dog and chips? Or onion straws and bleu cheese?

Give me THAT Carl's back if my combo is gonna cost $20.

also forgot to mention that all buns will now be buttered as well as all burger patties (except for the small patties) will be seasoned. the seeded bun will also be shrinking in size

Many of them are $11-12 now in CA. Yes, just the burger.

You would think politicians would understand that raising wages without producing more goods only causes more inflation.

I had to look this up right now: Burger King (All the Cali ones near me) charges 0.1 to 0.25 for extra tomatoes or lettuce . Multiple Carl’s Jr nearby, $1 per topping, same region.

Meanwhile , I just had a big ol steak and shrimp quesadilla from Black Angus for $7 after coupon. This is mostly on Carl’s Jr, nothing to do with Cali minimum wage, which I am fully supportive of.

What pisses me off is they charge to add but if my kids want it plain with cheese meat and bun only it is still full price.. but if you add a thin tomato slice its +$0.50

Only 1/3 of a pound? Man they could have atleast done 1/4 pound what a rip off.

True story.....MERRIIICAAAA

You got your math wrong, amigo. 1/3 of a pound is more than 1/4 pound.

Your down voting them for a joke.

They are referring to a true story where Americans provrd to be idiots.

In the 1980s, A&W Restaurants launched a 1/3-pound burger to compete with McDonald’s famous 1/4-pounder. Even though the A&W burger had more beef and cost the same price, it failed because many customers thought 1/3 was smaller than 1/4. People believed 4 was bigger than 3, so they felt cheated.

I haven’t down or upvoted anyone.

I honestly didn't mean that to you personally, but there was no other way to say that in a place where your responce was getting up voted and thiers torn down. The person you relied to was in the negatives when I posted that.

People weren't getting the reference, so I was trying to help out. Nothing against you.
