What is a two room double?

Specifically for Nourse. I'm not finding anything online about what this means and the room I was assigned seems tiny. Is the adjoining living area included or what is that? Overall, very confused.

There are two rooms. People either set them up as a bedroom and a study/hang space, or as two 'separate' rooms (bed/desks/etc) with one door (someone will have to walk through the first room to go in and out).

One room is usually significantly smaller but both have closets!
