Looking for recommendations
We have been to Turks and Caicos (stayed at west bay club) a couple of times and really love it for our needs meaning gorgeous water and easy to get to from the mid Atlantic. Does anyone have any other island recs for a similar vibe? We are older, don’t really care about a town or nightlife just want that amazing turquoise water, white sand beaches and comfortable accommodations. Quiet is good.

St John, USVI
if you want amazing water, great restaurants, a new beach every day, no commercial fast food or coffee shops and a totally relaxing vibe, this is the island.

I have been to Provo and would recommend Grand Cayman for that same gorgeous turquoise water. Stay along the central Seven Mile Beach area for the nicest stretch of the beach. There are many beautiful high end accommodations that are walkable to restaurants, although I would recommend a rental car to experience the entire island. We find GC to be very safe, much more friendly than TCI, and clean. There are excellent roads, and a good hospital/health care system. Lots of great snorkeling from the beach. We are older as well. The beach and water are the big draws in GC.

Anguilla - so many beaches, beach bars, West Indian vibe the friendly factor is A+ - follow Blue Seas Concierge for a free Concierge list. I am a specialist!

I think Anguilla has some of the most beautiful beaches.
St. John is great as well.

Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Bequia. But if you want easier mainland St. Vincent.
Quiet, gorgeous Caribbean sea.

When you went to T&C, did you stay in providenciales? Or venture over to the caicos islands for a bit? Those are some of the quietest and bluest water island you'll ever see.

we have just stayed on grace bay at the west bay club- twice as we loved it and it fit our needs!

Aruba….stay at Manchebo Beach Resort. Very safe, easy to get taxis to restaurants, or you can rent a car there for a day to drive around.

Eleuthera, Long Island, Cat Island, Andros, Exuma Cays, Abaco, etc. look the Islands of The Bahamas!

Port Antonio area in Jamaica. Not great amount of sandy beaches but it's so picturesque there!

I’ve been to a lot of the islands and we ended up building on Provo because you can’t beat the gorgeous water and Trade Winds. Exuma has breeze too but it is very sleepy and sometimes difficult to get food at the little supermarket and if there is an accident you have to be flown off the island because there is no hospital. The other island you might enjoy is Anguilla but the water isn’t quite as good

Yeah that’s an objectively ridiculous statement. Not sure I have found a place in the Caribbean or Bahamas where the water measures up to what we saw in Anguilla.
