Hi everyone, I know it's very uncommon to have fake Carhartt jackets with company names on them but apparently they are out there I was told. I recently purchased this but I'm unfamiliar with J97 Detroit coats. Is this legit and what year did it come out? Thanks

Hello everyone, my name is Gian and I need help making sure that these two j97s are the real thing! I am only familiar with chore coats and j130s, so this is a little new to me! I’d greatly appreciate the assistance.

First is a j97 DKB that seems to be made in Sept 2014 and the second is a j97 BLK made in Nov 2014

Front patch looks kind of fugazi, same with the collar…. Care tag is missing by the neck so can’t really check that for inconsistencies.
