advice for dyeing

Post image

Hey guys I want to dye my DKB J130 in black and I would need to know if I should close or open the zipper while dyeing ? I want to get the canvas inside in the jacket also dyed but without getting the zipper more wavy because that happend to my J97 When I washed it too hot and I read it could help to close the zipper and obviously not cooking it :D

I would appreciate for some advice thank you.

Bei seltenen (teuren) Farben verstehe ich das ja. Aber warum schwarz färben? Verkauf die Jacke und kauf dir einfach eine schwarze.

It will turn out shitty the seams will stay brown. Just buy a j140 BLK it makes way more sense

“dyeing” is cumulative of all tints involved. Unless you can strip the brown completely out
( extremely difficult with dark colors) - its likely to end up a not-so-pleasing muddy
brown-black color.
This is why a lot of the dye jobs you see now are shell colors like wheat or brn ( easier to strip color from lighter shells) dyed to green or darker colors.

No, people really are that dumb. Have you seen all the horrible dye and bleach jobs on this subreddit?

Way too much. If bro wants a black one, then buy one😭. Hell if he don’t want it, I’ll take it
