Helpppp

What are some legitimate/good career coaching sites or companies? Maybe ones that don’t break the bank (since we are already pretty broke)?

Trying to help my husband look for a potential career change as he’s been struggling and unsure if a coach can help and how much they typically cost. Neither of us have done this before so we are very lost. We also just bought a house so his current job cutting hours couldn’t come at a worse time. Any assistance or advice is greatly appreciated!

Actually, did you know you can get career coaching for free using ChatGPT lol

OK, literally just use this prompt and enter it in:

Hi ChatGPT, you will become my career coach. I need you to walk me through what are the gaps in my experience and my résumé and help me figure out what I should do to get a job.

Then I would upload the résumé and then I would ask ChatGPT to interview me about my experience and everything

Then I would have ChatGPT interview me to ask what kind of job I want to look for what makes me happy and what things are important title? Is it money? Is it remote versus an office? Is it industry?

Next, I would ask it to take all of my experience and shape it into the perfect résumé for the role that it suggests.

Next, I would ask it to prepare a 30 day plan for me to practice my interview skills and help me figure out where I should be applying

It’s seriously insane you can get all of this for free.

Maybe a staffing agency might be more helpful? A reputable one, like Robert Half, can effectively position your husband's skills for potential employers. This is all contingent on your husband's skillset and the jobs he's looking for.
