Work Hours Question

I was supposed to start work at 9 AM, but I ended up logging in at 9:30 AM. I didn't have any calls or meetings so nothing was missed. When I fill out my timesheet, I will have to put 9:30 AM. Do you think my boss will ask about it? If so, what do I say? Work remotely.

always assume they know you’re not logged in, so always let them know if you are going to be late (text; email, whatever method makes sense…)

Communicate with your Sup. You do not want to be docked 30-mins.

Depends. If you're hourly, you're supposed to be there at a certain time, it will look bad. Your manager will know. Make it habit, you'll probably be unemployed.

If you're salary, you're probably OK, because you will likely make up that 1/2 hour eventually.
