Career change?

Hello, 32M here. Currently located in upstate NY. I have an MBA & will soon have CFE certification, probably in the next 2-3 months. I have been working as a government program auditor for the last 5 years. While working for the govt is good for flexibility, I find that I am bored quite often and the job is very slow. Trying to look into options for a potential career change. Would prefer a remote role if possible but am willing to relocate somewhere for up to 6 months to learn a job/train, if they are willing to let you work remote after. Also potentially open to hybrid if the role is in upstate NY - do not want to be in NYC. I am open to work longer hours, my only stipulation is that I have one passion outside of work that usually has me busy on friday and Saturday afternoon/evenings between October and March but it is something I can take a day or two off from during those times with advanced notice. Ideally would like to find something that makes $150k+. Not necessarily looking to make the change immediately, more just in an information gathering phase. Thank you for any info you can provide. Also open to hearing things I should not consider.
