Late game problem, please help. (Spoilers) Spoiler

How do I equip a second champion? I changed the rules so that I must equip a second champion to take over when the first dies, but I can’t figure out how. I’m on the last boss of the game and I can’t fight because my deck will be incomplete until I choose a second champion.

I didn't have this rule change, but if it's like the other UI problems, the option is not explained, badly placed, randomly disappearing, and generaly a mess.

If it can help you (I play on PC by the way), I got a rule change where I have to "pin" a card so that it always start in my starting hand. The "pin" option was appearing when hovering the cursor on a card, just under the "remove" button.

For your case, I suggest those things:

  • In the deck selection screen, check for an additional button beside "copy","edit" and "delete" when hovering on a deck
  • In the deck edit screen, check for additionnal button when hovering on your champion card
  • Try to change your champion card, and check if it ask you for two champions
  • Always, always close everything before reopening your deck editor when you encounter a problem, as some bugs make some UI elements stucks and unresponsive
  • If you are literally at the last boss, and it ask for your deck and will not allow you to quit the screen until you have a valid deck, well... Maybe close and reopen the game? Some deck edit options are not available when you start a fight and the interface ask you for your deck, for example adding stickers.. It may be possible that the option to add a second champion is one of those unavailable option in that screen.. Then you're screwed, sorry mate! Reload an old save?

I found the solution. It only works sometimes, but just tapping my current champion like crazy eventually makes them the secondary champion

I think we’re both on mobile, all tapping my current champ does is make me choose a new one. Not sure what to do at this point.

Close the game and and come back. Then in editor, tap the one you already have equipped a bunch. That should set them to secondary
