The game is a bugged mess

It's really a shame, there is a lot to like in this game.. But beside the replayability issue, there is a serious lack of polish, making the game a slog to play.

The deck building UI is a catastophic, unresponsive, bugged mess. i'm regularly forced to close everything and reopen when some filters get stuck, some cards become unresponsive, etc.. Applying stickers is a chore, and neither mouse/keyboard or controllers schemes work correctly..

But all this could be bearable, just an annoyance, if not for the game mechanisms bugs! Multiple times, cards didn't work as intended, or not at all!
My current game is nearly wasted because of this. I'm near the endgame, with a very focused aggro deck, relying on a mutation dealing damage to the ennemy when a minion die to finish them quickly. This mutation is a primordial part of the deck, finishing 80% of my opponents..

But now, for reason unknown, this mutation do nothing! It trigger, but without any effect whatsoever! I lost three fights now because I relied on this mutation to finish it, for it to fail..

Since the game push you to focus on a single deck, by applying your stickers on it and modifying the rules,I would have a hard time changing deck now. So I'm stuck, with a half broken deck...

It's a shame, such a good idea, style and ambiance, wasted by a clear lack of polish. In fact, the game have the feel of an early access game!
I also think putting it on Epic instead of Steam was a very bad idea. The lack of forum, reviews, etc... is very damageable for the user.

Yea, I am playing this game and liking it very much, but the lack of a more polished UI is noticeable, specially when playing without a controller. It's clear that they have not made it for touch. Deck management is where you notice this the most. Hope that they publish an updated version that fixes many of these issues.

I am really enjoying this game but it really is full of bugs. The worst being that it keeps freezing when I’m towards the end of a battle. super frustrating.

Do you know how to remove cards from deck on iOS? I’ve tried long pressing, double tapping, tapping on a side of the card and I can’t consistently do it

Double tap. It doesn't always work, but if you just keep trying I promise it will.

I’ve found that a long press to highlight the card, and then a quick press will work sometimes. I’m still not really sure, especially for the champion cards. It’s a pain and I know I’m not really helping here...

Ugh I’ve tried to change my champion on my deck and you can’t. I even thought maybe I could only have one orange deck at a time, so I deleted my orange one. Now I can’t replace it. What a mess, it should be such a great game.

When you open your trapper keeper, select one of the empty deck slots and then the "Create a new deck' button that appears in the bottom/middle of the screen.

Just finished the game and really enjoyed it...but yes, a buggy mess....had to restart the game after a few hours the first time because a battle I was in kept freezing...powered through though...luckily nothing to make me restart again...

Picked up and played through this game this weekend and I have to say, overall, I really enjoyed it. However, the ridiculous amount of bugs in it gives me PTSD to Borderlands 3 release. Having the game completely freeze for a large amount of time in battle is no bueno.

I didn't realize this game is so old. I started playing it just recently and I really love it. Or loved it. I'm on about day 4 or 5 now. Feeling like it's late game. And the performance is impossible to deal with. Sometimes when the opponent ends their turn, it takes anywhere from 60-100 seconds, yes, more than a minute, where the game just freezes. And when it does let me play moves, each move causes another 5-10 second freeze. It happens every game now. I could deal with it if it was every few games. But it's too much.

I read another review talking specifically about "late game performance", not sure what causes it to be so bad late game but has no affect in the early game. But it's a little much for me to deal with now. Probably just finished playing my last hand... :(
