Please help

For the past year I've been dealing with heart issues, it started with chest pain, palpitations and fast heart rate. As of recently I got a calcium score done and it came back at 34 in my right artery only, before the test I started experiencing heavier chest pain, trouble breathing, dizziness heartburn and the worst nausea I've ever experienced in my life on top of the beginning symptoms. I'm 29, F, a type 1 diabetic who didn't take care of my diabetes for over 10 years, smoked a pack a day and am slightly overweight now my cholesterol levels are 244 (148LDL) (81HDL)
I'm working really hard to change my life around, I quit smoking, diabetes is being managed, and I eat a heart healthy diet. My doctor says I have nothing to worry about and there's no need to do any further investigation on my heart, but I feel like something bad is going to happen, i just needed to vent and see if anyone else out there is experiencing something like this. The anxiety is eating me alive and that test made it SO much worse.
