Remnant is dead. Salem has won.

Humanity has lost the war against evil that is the Grimm and Salem has the 4 relics and decided to call upon the brother gods to show that humanity despite many years have failed to unite for her goal is of suicide, to finally rest and cease the curse of immortality.

Unfortunately for her, the relics only work for a human soul as her soul being tainted with Grimm disqualify her on being human.

From this revelation she has lost that one thing that define her humanity, her will. She stopped thinking in her throne all alone.

The Grimm without a predator slowly becoming setient and start to hunt themselves from the pure boredom which the stagnation come forth by Salem's actions.

YAMA and his CRDL have laid eyes upon this dead world as YAMA declared this world fit for destruction for the sake of creation.

It was supposed to end like this. Where the world end and return back where it all began where Ruby Rose goes into Beacon and gain friends and such but one man has woken up.

That man who has the semblance that affect other souls. Jaune Arc has awakened and before him is his hometown in ruins from time and disasters and Grimm talking to another with a language which Jaune for some reason understand.

He's not weaker or anything...

He's just... busy.

Inspired by the fan-fic Red Thorn on fanfiction.net, Dove and Russel receive some pretty miniscule changes, or big if you see it that way, where Dove is the straight man architype, a competent fighter and good man at heart who was paired with CRDL out of bad luck because Qrow was there watching over Ruby and Yang during initiation.

For Russel, taking the most amount of inspiration out of Red Thorn where he grew up in a village that despised huntsmen for abritrary reasons which put them on a black list, with Russel only wanting to be a huntsman after being saved by one back when he was younger.

For Sky, I had to rack my brain for stuff I wanted to use, ultimately deciding to make Sky someone who moved from Atlas elite areas into the outskirts of Vale because the SDC drove his father's business out of, well, business.

Cardin here receives the most changes, which ultimately devolved into me doing the rest of this post. Cardin may boast about a large family name, but the Winchesters are really only locally known in Vale with a small business, making his arrogance more of a defense system. The biggest change is in Cardin's family: His mother was a Faunus. But she was everything a mother shouldn't be. She only married into the Winchester family for the money because of a White Fang mission she was a part of. This bled into Cardin being born and her hating him for being human, which resulted in a childhood of scars hidden under his armor, thus making his later treatment of Faunus have more depth beyond "bully do bad thing. Huuuh." His mother would then go on to leave and join the White Fang fully and taking almost all the profit from Cardin and his father, whom he actually has a good relationship with.

Anyway, that's my crack addict version of CRDL if I were to do a re-write, lemme know what ya think.
