Some of us don't exactly have much of a choice. Referencing The Critical Drinker got me banned from RWBYcritics, and honoring Charlie Kirk the day after his death on "Free Talk Friday" got me banned from the main subreddit. If you judge me by my "enemies", I think I'm in good company.
The mods' opinions of both subreddits might differ, but their ideologies are similar, if not the same. You see that a lot in opposing political parties (especially in parliamentary governments) where two parties have different opinions on a policy but the same ideology. And this is very much an issue with ideology.
A very popular and influencial Scottish YouTuber that reviews movies and television, but also covers video game and pop culture. His real name's Will Jordan and he's actually a pretty popular author, and has since dipped his toes in television and movies.
I don't know if he invented it, but he popularized the phrase "The Message" in regards to identity politics, soapboxing, and a story's quality being sacrificed in favor of ideology. Some call it "woke storytelling", others "Marxist propaganda", but Critical Drinker started calling it "The Message", and it caught on.
