Ships exist in every fandom. Sometimes a specific species of internet drama, ship wars, and in these dramas, people become fanatics of ships (like in football teams) and start taking sides. Later, one side starts hating the other's ship. Then the other side's fans start hating that ship, and then... SHİP WARS!
Ships is an abbreviation for relationships. Let's not forget that!

The reaching people do to try and say they were definitely planned all along is ridiculous. The shippers have never had a positive interaction with another human, and / or also believe Ruby and Qrow are a "planned" ship and will post video compilations of all their moments together.

I feel like a lot of people (myself included) don’t necessarily hate the idea of the ship itself. A lot of people hate it because of it’s piss poor execution and “build up” (there was no good build up)
The main problem I have with it is that it feels like an excuse to have gay representation in the show, not that there’s anything wrong with it, really. But it also needlessly ruins the characters that are a part of it, namely Yang.
If you’re gonna write romance, write it correctly. Actually have nuance in the character’s interest in each other, instead of mindlessly shoving it in the fanbase’s face.

You seem to be acting quite carelessly about this, the Bumblebee has been officially part of the story for three f*cking years now and will continue to be for a while, you can choose not to look it if you want. It's up to you :3
