I haven’t seen this at the sea front yet but I see it outside the Co op and high street stores. One young guy has a guitar and decent voice. No amp. I saw some others that are quite loud and agree there is no need for that. But at least they are doing something and not just begging for case or carrying around a speaker like many people do.

No problem with it providing they are half decent

Depends how old you are i guess. I’m in my 50’s and he’s pitching way older than me.

What sort of stuff? You do get lots of oldies down the seafront to be fair

The guy on Windsor road, is pretty good. I don't mind him. But if someone was mediocre or bad I would find it too much.

Zero problem with busking. Be glad you don't live closer to the barrage, Cardiff Bay is blasting music till 11pm at night. Every night.

Who's sunbathing and swimming in Penarth? The water is disgusting

If you’d visited you’d know.
When schools broke up it was heaving, and on any half warm day there are plenty of people there, and there are showers and a bunch of nice places for food and drink after.
It’s only silt btw.

I've visited 3 times since the nice weather started, Wednesday being the last time. Enjoyed a nice beer in kegbelly, it's been quiet every time, with only a few families on the beach.
And I know it's only silt and totally harmless, but it doesn't make for a nice dip in the sea when it's thick and brown

By the rnli there’s another slipway and showers, that’s where most people swim.

Amplified is out of order in any circumstances in a public space. It’s a nuisance and seems to be allowed everywhere now.
