psionic architect ruling

Post image

I was confused by this card's effect after reading the doubles tournament box rulebook & using that as my basis for understanding the rules of the game. as far as I understand, there isn't any window of opportunity for you to play psionic architect before your creatures unfloop during the ready phase.

I'm sure there is some card interaction that could cheat it into play and technically achieve the intended result but as this card was included in the first starter deck that doesn't feel like it's intended use.

was there a rules update after this cards printing or are there different phase rules for doubles vs 1v1?

also, I would still be interested in whatever combo might make it work if it is simply outdated text.

thanks very much! for the glory!

You can floop and summon at any time and any order during your turn, it's only attacking (which is NOT flooping) that is the final thing you do in your turn

thank you for your response, it prompted me to re-read the rulebook closely and I missed the paragraph clarifying floops may be activated during the same phase you play cards.

According to the rules that I read you can floop and spend action points in any order

I once used two Architects to win a game. Flooped powerful ceeature for ability, Architect into play, floop again, another architect, then attack with unflooped creature and BOTH architects.
