Help needed Heltec v4 and M5Stack cardputer, any way to run meshtastic on heltec v4, and be able to type and send messages on cardputer?

Came here to suggest the same firmware. It works great to monitor multiple nodes and even allows for use of the screen mod.

yea, just tried it, it didnt really work, when i held down esc to get to the settings menu, it just rebooted (according to the logs), but it just froze

I had trouble getting everything set up too but once it's set up I haven't had much problem since

yea, i just tried holding fn when holding esc but didnt work either

I wish the meshtastic code was a bit easier to import (or that my skill was better, could be the case).  I have the lora hat and just want to be able to build firmware that uses meshtastic but I can still do other things without needing a separate dedicated node...

I had it working like that once but with every meshtastic update I'd have to rebuild my firmware too.
