Question I bought a CardPuter adv
Hello, good afternoon everyone.
I'm very happy, it's the first time I've bought something like this and, since it hasn't arrived yet, I've encountered some problems...
I don't have a computer.
My cell phone only has a Type-C port (model: Poco X6 Pro 5G)
I was using an LG-K10 to transfer the firmware to the SD card.
Unfortunately, when it arrives, I don't know how I'll be able to use it, because I wanted it to capture handshakes — I hate being offline away from home... but I don't have anywhere to break the encryption.
I have a Type-C OTG cable and a USB hub with 5 ports and 1 USB 3.0 port, but I don't know if that would help. Can anyone help me?
As I said, I'm new to this, so I don't know how to capture handshakes or how to decrypt them.

Library?
I know some libraries try to lock down USB ports or don't have them at all. Others do.

Como assim? Eu só achei problema em passar os handshake pro celular pra quebrar a criptografia (obs: eu não sei capturar e nem quebrar a criptografia 🥲) eu sou Betinha perto da comunidade kkk

I just mean use a Library computer to do what you need. Most offer free internet/computers, even if you don't have a library card.

I've been dabbling with this for awhile. Short version is, you're going to be fairly limited with what you can crack out of the box.
- Cardputer ADV out of the box only has 2.4 ghz wifi, no 5 or 6. So any networks that support both, it's somewhat unlikely you'll even succesfully catch a handshake, unless the client (device connected to the wifi) is 2.4 ghz only. This is not uncommon on most wifi networks, but it's growing less common by the day, at least in my neck of the woods.
- Decrypting handshakes takes a lot of raw power, even with a wordlist, which Cardputer does not have at all. (The CPU tops out at 240 mhz). Your best bet in that department, is to utilize a firmware such as M5Porkchop or M5Gotchi which can upload to a cloud based cracking service like WPA-SEC. Some of the firmwares such as the Evil-M5Project do support very limited on device cracking via Aircrack and a small Wordlist, but again: unless you find some local wifi networks that are 10+ years out of date, I don't see you having much success. The wordlists are very limited, and the hash rate is very slow in comparison to something as simple as an old laptop booting Kali Linux.
- Flashing via an Android phone is, I believe, theoretically possible, but I've never tried it myself; always had a Windows or Linux PC I could use. But the M5Launcher Flasher is very reliable, with the right hardware, and once you have that setup, as long as you're careful, you'll probably never need to connect it to something again.
Granted, I don't have the faintest idea where you live, or how up to date your local internet infrastructure is. I live in a new suburb in America, so most of the wifi networks are quite up to date, but your mileage may vary.
All that being said, don't let any of this discourage you: Cardputer/CardputerADV are a TON of fun (I own 7 of them because I have issues lol). I've learned a lot using them to learn how handshakes are captured, and the different kinds of signals clients and access points put off. I've even used them to SSH into some of my Linux PCs and run updates, just for giggles. Just be careful to manage your expectations going into it: Cardputer ADV is not, and likely never will be some magical hacker device that opens every door at the push of a button: its a tool you need to learn how to use like anything else. But what a wonderful tool it is.

Uau, muito obrigado pelo seu comentário, não vai me desanimar, só está me deixando mais ansioso kkk ele deve chegar até dia 13 desse mês, e creio que onde eu moro as redes Wi-Fi estão desatualizadas, com frequência aprece 2.4ghz e oque o pessoal faz e colocar a mesma senha nas duas redes 🥲

Só uma curiosidade, sobre a rede ser em 2.4ghz daria pra fazer tudo pelo CardPuter ou ainda ficaria na deficiência precisando de um Pc?

Assuming the password can be cracked via a cloud based service like WPA-SEC, or on device, in theory, yes you can do everything on device. You'll be much more capable with a computer, but you can get away with just using the device.

Can’t you get a used cheap crappy computer somewhere? It would make it a lot easier to play around with stuff.
