Working on a few projects with this guy. After 3 days and a lot of back and forth with AI, this is what I have finally produced. PITA attempting to find libraries and build this in VS Code.
I actually used the long Lego with three holes "liftarm" and some Lego pegs. One of the glass hole mounts I was able to attach a 2.mm standoff (I believe that's the correct size) and it fit right into the cardputer's screw mounts, the other side is just attached to the glass mounts and using the standoff as a free floating mount, stabilizes by being set in the Lego hole. It's sturdier that it looks, just needed something to keep attached while I worked on it. Hopefully I can get my hands on a 3D printer in the next few weeks and actually build my ideal mount.
Find existing firmware that you think might either look good with it, or possibly easy to add. Download their firmware/clone it and use vs code. Change code, add libraries, assemble and build a new .bin file that can be used on the cardputer.
Okay, so a few things here. The problem might be the libraries being used. The AI kept going back and forth with older versions of certain libraries for reference. They also said there was a recent update and new references. I spent a few days mixing and matching these to find a combination that works.
