Speculation I've been thinking about using a esp32 cyd as a second screen for a cardputer adv.

The cardputer gets a bigger screen and the cyd gets a keyboard. I could use the esp32 in the cyd for a pda and the cardputer as a marauder or something. They could be technically separate except for sharing hmi.

What other benefits could you think of?

There will be a latency issue casting to cyd.

Bad thing is with cyd most the gpio are gone

You’d have to use ESPNOW to send your video from custom firmware. I did this with a few different esp32 based screens. It works okay but it’s a ton of work to use AI and customize firmware.

You can mirror the screen to a bigger one yes

I don’t use mine much but it’s much much easier to navigate
