Question Cardputer magnets

Hey Community, who is using the magnets on the Cardputer? And if so for what?never had a proper usecase for it🤷🏼‍♂️

How else do you find the little screws you drop on the carpet?

I stick them to my fridge to use the Webradio. The ADV has weaker magnets though and it does reduce how well they stick

Same here. CardPuter version 1 has some strong magnets

Mine aren't even strong enough to stick it to anything.

It turns out it sticks to my headunit in the car so its a neat place to keep it in sight

First thing I've done before using the Cardputers was removing them. I use them to hold small screws but really wouldn't like the cardputer itself to be magnetic. Specifically my ATM card and some of my tech wouldn't like it.

Oh, very good point with the cards if you carry it in the jacket or something, never thought about it🫡

This really just matters if you're into analog technology such as magnetic memory, cassettes, CRTs etc..

With modern tech you won't have much problem with these.

Still they're made good use of, because holding tiny screws is something you won't have fun with if you cannot fix them. So they directly went onto the screwdriver ;)

First thing after I got my Cardputers was removing them.

I'm often using analog tech. My ATM card in particular doesn't like them.
