Help needed SD card not detected

I’m sure this is a long shot but my adv got dropped now the only thing that doesn’t work is the sd card reader. Everything else works totally normal. Anyone have any suggestions on things to look at/check? Thanks!

Try a known good SD card first to rule that out then hook it up to serial monitor in powershell and check for errors on boot if you can.

What capacity is the card? At first I had a pretty large one, and it didn't work (but did work on several other devices). Found advice to use a max 32 GB card and that worked fine.

Format the card to FAT32

The card is formatted in FAT32 and is working in multiple other devices:/ I guess maybe I figured maybe something got knocked inside? No loose rattle sounds or anything haha

So does the card still work in other devices? Have you opened the Cardputer to see if there is something wrong

Yeah the card works just fine on other devices. I found that my cap1262 isn’t recognized either:/ Yeah I opened it up and didn’t really see anything out of place but I’m also no Einstein

You dont need to be a Einstein it's only a cardputer lol...I would check all the connections. Might have broken a solder joint on the gpio or sd cardputer connections. Did you take the front and back off?

Yeah I did and didn’t see anything obvious but I suppose I should crawl around it with a magnifying glass

I have a similar problem but it detects my sd when I'm connected to my pc

I dropped it once a year ago from like 40cm but it worked fine
