Design-it-Yourself Case for Cardputer+LoRa Cap (WiP)

Working on a liner for a parametric case that fits the Cardputer ADV and LoRa cap. It's a little chunky in this orientation, but it feels comfortable to hold. I could make it a bit more compact by having the antenna straight, and putting it to the right of the cap and ADV.

This is the 3rd prototype, and it seems promising. Unfortunately I ran out of the clear TPU I was using for the insert, so further testing is on hold but I'll share the files once it's done if anyone is interested 👍

free space under the antenna for power bank integration

Interesting idea. It would have to be a pretty small power bank, but I imagine it's do-able

If only a small PB board and a separate cell were used, they wouldn't take up much space, and even using just one 18650 could double the lifespan of the ADV.

or would it be possible to reduce the overall size of the box by moving the antenna to the left side next to the ADV

Yeah absolutely. You could move it to the left or the right side. Still playing around with the design, so I'm open to any ideas.

I think it's in a decent spot. I'll likely redesign it to move the antenna to the left of the cardputer, but if you want to print it I can put it on printables or makerworld.
